A food web is food chains linked together. A food web shows us the different food animals and plants eat and how they are all connected. The yellow fin tuna is both predator and prey. Predators are in a food web because a food web has the species that eat and get eaten by, therefore a predator has to be on there to show that other species get eaten. A prey is on a food web to show that they are getting eaten by certain species. When one part of a food goes extinct then it becomes like dominos, the reason is because others can’t rely on another species to eat because they might be decreasing in food because of the species that died off. Humans can hurt the food web because we eat sea animals which decreases the amount of fish and sooner or later there some be enough for the other sea species. Humans can help the food web by protecting the ocean instead of endangering it because helping it will allow more species to survive and they could feed on each other.
